Disney Channel is a 24-hour cable television network owned by The Walt Disney Company. From 2000-2004 they exclusively aired syndicated repeats of Boy Meets World. In 2004, it was acquired on ABC Family, but it remained on Disney Channel until 2007. Due to Disney Channel's target audience many episodes were heavily edited such as The Psychotic Episode and They're Killing Us. Disney Channel is the only network that banned at least three episodes If You Can't Be With the One You Love..., Prom-ises, Prom-ises and The Truth About Honesty due to the raunchy subject matter of the latter two, and the depiction of alcohol in the former.
Boy Meets World returned to Disney Channel May 5, 2014, after a seven year absence as a promotional campaign for Girl Meets World. However, only select episodes were aired.
