• Was born as Ashley Maitland Welkos, on February 3, 1977 in Long Beach, California.
• Did not seriously pursue acting until she got a role on The Bold and the Beautiful, which was only her second audition.
  • Her role on the show lasted three years.
• Following her graduation from high school, she attended Cal State University at Long Beach, where she was a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority.
• Landed roles in USA High, Home Improvement, Killing Mr. Griffin, and Dish Dogs (which also featured Sean Astin, Brian Dennehy, and Matthew Lillard.
• Most recently, starred in the Wayans Brothers' White Chicks (2004).
