[edit] Synopsis
One day after school, Cory begins to feel an overwhelming sense of boredom and apathy with his daily life. He wishes for something exciting to happen. Not long after, Alan reports a cherry bomb prank gone wrong outside his store. This would seem to make Cory's wish come true, until he learns that Shawn is the culprit.
For the rest of that week, Cory lets Shawn hide in his bedroom in secrecy. Mr. Feeny, however, catches the boys without them knowing, and reveals all to Cory's parents. This teaches Cory about the true meaning of friendship.
