Tom Morris is the vice-president of the advertising company that Shawn and Cory work for in How to Succeed in Business. He promotes Shawn to be his temp after he is impressed by how Shawn handled a customer on the phone who was angry about a late package.

Cory is fired by Mr. Morris when he answers the phone when he wasn't supposed to and upset an important customer. When Cory asks what he is supposed to do, Tom tells him that not everyone is cut out for the business world. Shawn later talks to Mr. Morris, who agrees to let Cory come back to work as a janitor.
